I look to the shepherd's sky and hear your voice foretelling a fine day ahead. We plan a ride to the creek to catch yabbies and climb trees from where your whistle will rival the song of the local shrikes. Only, the voice is an echo and our adventures are long past.

I still ride to the creek, Walter.  When I reach our tree,  I whistle to make the echo of your voice even louder and for just a moment, the day becomes as fine as it can be.

Shaun is another fellow that came across our bikes at the Bowerbird bazaar. He had his own bike "wreck", as can be seen in the before photos, and asked us to create something from it. The result is Walter, a three speed conversion/restoration. Walter is Shaun's grandfather's name and the bike has some nice Brooks features to give it a bit of a retro feel in honour of when Walter was a young gun.
